Mortgagehub Product Release 2024R1

Welcome to the Release of MortgageHub 2024R1!

We're excited to announce the latest enhancements and features in MortgageHub 2024 Release 1 (2024R1). Our continuous efforts are aimed at enriching the functionality and capabilities of MortgageHub to provide its Canadian users with industry-leading software for Structured Finance and Securitization. Below are the key updates included in this version:

Enhancements: Fresh features added for an improved system design, enhancing both the look and usability

  •  Job Scheduler - A new approach to job process scheduling, with the introduction of a new service and module.

  • Treasury Administration - The NHA MBS Administration process has been enhanced to include a feature that indicates, where available, the liquidation trigger for a loan within a pool.

  • Purge and Approvals Functionality Enhancements:

Purging - In cases where the database holds more than two years’ of data, the purge process will limit users to purge data strictly in one-year batches.

Approvals - Three key enhancements have been made to the Approvals Function within the Purge Module:

An Approval Information box has been added to the Purge Configuration module. This box will indicate the approval status, approver name, and the date of the approval.

To achieve better consistency, both the Purge and Approval statuses have been programmed to automatically flip to Awaiting Approval when a user changes any configuration and clicks “Update”.

When users click “Approve”, the Purge status will automatically flip to Ready to Purge.

  • Seller Entity Family - Enhancements made in this area provide users, especially aggregators, with a streamlined process when working with seller entity families. Users can now copy configurations based on selected seller entities as well as any related entities.

  • TSX-Servicer Integration - Enhanced to include a more robust approach to error handling for clients who use TSX Trust Company for their pool custody needs. The enhancements make it easier for users to troubleshoot common configuration-related issues.

  • Loan File Uploads - Enhancements to the loan dynamic file upload within the core data source. These enhancements improve the user experience when performing updates to historical loan records.

  • Covered Bond Program:

Instruments - Enhancements allow users to perform bulk operations outside of the Instruments screen. In the Liabilities tab users can now edit the trading value and clean price of their instruments as well as perform bulk valuations and finalization of instruments.

Engines - Users now have the ability to determine whether a formula should be included in analytics by toggling the Display in Analytics option.

Monthly Investor Reporting - Additional data point exposures to the formula engine have been completed that particularly pertain to Monthly Investor Report stratifications and sub-tables.

  • Mortgage Viewer User Interface - Three new fields have been added to the Mortgage Viewer screen which offer users a more detailed view of the arrears information. This includes arrears amount, linked loans in arrears, and default status.

  • Small Pool Validator Compliance - Pools with a value of less than $2 million, which were formerly restricted to only being issued within selected months, can now be issued at any time.

  • Redesign of EIR CMB - Process has been re-designed to provide more robust troubleshooting abilities as well as improve performance within the system.

  • EIR and DPB -  Enhancements are largely centered around how the system responds to changes in maturity date.
